Wilkes Historical Foundation to preserve, develop and restore sites,
buildings, and other structures of
historical or architectural interest in and around Washington and
Wilkes County, Georgia; while also participating in programs and
projects for the benefit of historical education.
The Foundation remains very active throughout the year on a variety of
projects that help promote, portray and develop the culturally rich
fabric of our southern heritage.
